I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling and over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist. I've worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities, and as a consultant for a major healthcare provider.
In addition to my private practice, I am a member of Postpartum Support International. I am also proud to be a board member of Butterfly Baskets, a non profit dedicated to supporting women who have lost a pregnancy.
My education in perinatal mood disorders includes completing the PSI Maternal Mental Health Training for Clinical Professionals, advanced PMAD training, and certification as a Perinatal Mental Health Professional. (PMH-C)
I specialize in anxiety, depression, postpartum mood disorders, fertility treatment support, miscarriage/loss, and work/life balance issues.
I believe that it's a privilege to be part of a client's journey towards resolving difficult issues. Your sessions are confidential, private and conducted in an atmosphere of professionalism and trust.
I believe that people want to become the best they can be. To that end, the therapy experience should be one of acceptance and support. You need to feel that you are being treated with empathy, genuineness and respect. I provide that space for my clients as they begin their path towards a more happy life.
I don't take insurance and I believe that everyone is entitled to quality care regardless of income. I can provide receipts for out of network reimbursement if applicable. Sliding scale can be negotiated on an individual basis.
